I found this on Behance recently. Maurice Jochem and his team created a vivid and almost visceral animation with this piece for Brother printers. At first, I didn’t know what I was looking at. Is it a futuristic factory, or some kind of robotics project? Then I started to see the ink droplets form and I started to wonder if it was some kind of alien or something. Here’s a great piece by the team at Machineast in Singapore. They developed this 3D logo for a Filipino goth rock band. I love the use of color, and the choice of typeface and filigrees is perfect for describing what the band is all about. I wish this piece was animated, but great work nonetheless!
